Operations assessments and process mapping

Identification of risks, gaps, and inefficiencies
System and tool recommendations grounded in capacity and values
Future-state planning aligned with governance and compliance needs
Best for organizations that need clarity before building.

I design and build the structures that hold your systems together, with Airtable as the primary foundation.
Includes:
Airtable system architecture and builds
Workflow design, permissions, and documentation
AI-free automations and integrations (e.g., forms and connectors)
Accessible, secure, and scalable system design
Testing with a small team before full rollout
Best for organizations ready to move from planning to implementation.
-
For teams that want a long-term partner as systems evolve.
Includes:
Systems maintenance and refinement
On-call Airtable and operations support
Iterative improvements as needs change
Staff onboarding and training
Advisory support during growth, transitions, or restructuring
Best for organizations that want continuity, not one-off fixes.
-
During the Operations Mapping, I will provide a list of recommendations for policies and/or processes that your organization should consider instituting. Additionally, I can work with your team to draft these policies for you, taking one more item off your plate.
Airtable
-
I’ll set up your account, workspaces, permissions, sharing standards, sign-on, admin portal, and invite your team correctly.
-
I’ll build the base and automations you are already looking for. This could include:
Invoice and/or payment tracking systems
Social media planning and content calendars
Fundraising grant trackers
Profit and Loss trackers with quarterly tax estimate automations and reminders
Equipment inventories
-
I will offer coaching to you or your team to develop your general Airtable skills by walking you through a build that you will implement at the end of the coaching time.
The Process
Assess
We start with data collection. This includes informational interviews with you and your staff, surveys, and reviewing your existing systems.
Plan
We identify gaps in your system and build a plan to fix them. Where appropriate, this is kicked off with a design thinking session with your staff.
Build
We take the plan we’ve agreed on, and start building. First a visualization map for your systems, then the systems themselves.
Test
We’ll ask you and/or a small number of your team members to test our new systems with real scenarios. This ensures they’re fully functional before you prepare to roll them out.
Document
We leave you with a guidebook to your mapping, a database guide, recommendations for rolling-out new systems, and any other documentation related to your project.
